Mark is a lifelong resident of West Michigan and lives in East Grand Rapids with his wife Lori and daughter Sarah. He began his career in Financial Services with Prudential in 1989 and has served as a Marketing Representative for ICMA Retirement Corporation, Vice President at State Street Bank of Boston and Citistreet LLC, Marketing Manager at MERS of Michigan, and as a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services prior to joining Centennial Securities in 2009.

 

Mark earned his Bachelor’s and Masters in Management degrees from Aquinas College and attended Detroit College of Law. He served six years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman following his graduation from East Grand Rapids High School in 1973.

 

Mark believes in applying the same principles of asset allocation and diversification he learned in the institutional arena to individual portfolios, and to plan design for corporate retirement plans. He believes in the fundamental principles of portfolio construction and the tried and true methods of investing that have proved themselves over time. He enjoys spending time with clients and tailoring investments to their goals and designing portfolios to help achieve their desired results.

 

His hobbies are fishing, hunting, camping, and occasionally golf; and he has served as Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts, Secretary for the American Legion, and is active in the Masonic Temple and Scottish Rite Masonry in Grand Rapids.
