I officially joined Centennial as a Financial Advisor in June 2024, continuing a journey that really began when I was 16 years old.

As Centennial advisor Tom Petzold’s daughter, I grew up around the business and spent many years working behind the scenes before stepping into my current role. Today, I hold my Series 7 and Series 66 licenses and have the privilege of working alongside my dad every day. We often tell clients that I’m his co-pilot, and together we make a great team.

I graduated from Grand Rapids Catholic Central before attending Grand Valley State University, where I earned a degree in Accounting. During my time at GVSU, I was honored to receive the Excellence in Accounting Award, selected by faculty to recognize one student from each academic major, as well as the Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Key, awarded to the graduate with the highest GPA in the Seidman College of Business. Following graduation, I spent several years at a local accounting firm, gaining valuable experience that continues to benefit our clients today.

My accounting background has proven invaluable in the financial planning process. There is significant overlap between accounting and financial advising, and taxes play a role in nearly every financial decision. One of the things my dad and I enjoy most is helping clients navigate complex tax considerations and identifying opportunities that support their long-term financial goals. Whether working with individual investors or 401(k) participants, I genuinely enjoy building relationships and helping people feel comfortable and confident about their financial future. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is using the wisdom and gifts the Lord has entrusted to me to help clients see and pursue their ambitions with confidence and clarity. It is a privilege to walk alongside them as they work toward the goals that matter most to their families and their future.

Working alongside my dad has been one of the greatest blessings of my career, and I couldn’t ask for a better teacher or mentor. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jarrod, and our Golden Retriever. Jarrod and I are thrilled to be expecting our first child in August 2026. Having been born and raised in Grand Rapids, West Michigan will always be home, but when I’m not there, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors at our family lake house on Hamlin Lake in Ludington.
