
Craig A. Tuinstra, Senior Vice President, began his career at Centennial Securities Company in 1993 and is one of the owners of the firm. Craig’s father, Roger D. Tuinstra, was one of the original founders of Centennial in 1978.
Craig is a registered investment advisor who studied finance at Davenport University. He holds licensure with the Series 7 and 65 and is also a licensed agent for life, accident and health insurance.
Clients appreciate the effort Craig puts into building portfolios that match their current and future objectives, whether planning for long-term retirement needs or meeting current income needs once retired. He accomplishes this by utilizing individual stocks and bonds, as well as exchange-traded funds and mutual funds to round out diversification needs.
To assist clients in estate planning and insurance needs, Craig also utilizes a network of professionals.
He resides with his wife, Chris, in Alto where they live on a hobby farm with horses, sheep, two cats and a dog. Together they have seven children and several grandchildren. Additionally, he has studied and trained in a local flight school and holds his commercial pilot’s license with multi-engine and instrument ratings. Craig held various professional pilot positions earlier in his career, and he continues to be active and current in the aviation community.
Craig and Chris enjoy spending time at their cabin on Drummond Island with family. They are active in their church and in their local Lions Club.
