Randall L Hansen joined Centennial Securities as the CFO and COO in February 1995, taking the reins as President and CEO in 1999, and then as a shareholder beginning in 2000. After leading the company for 30 years, Randy retired from his duties as President and CEO in September 2025. He remains with the company focusing on his clients in the role of Senior Financial Advisor.
Randy graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics in 1983. He started his brokerage career that same year as an accounting clerk at H.B. Shaine & Company, a New York Stock Exchange firm located in the heart of Grand Rapids. By 1987, he had worked his way up to Assistant Secretary/Treasurer with the firm. Later that year, Randy took the position of CFO with a small independent brokerage firm in a Grand Rapids suburb.
Randy holds several industry licenses including that of Options Principal, Financial & Operations Principal, Municipal Principal, and General Principal. He is also a fully licensed Securities Representative and Investment Advisor.
He is a former chairman of the board for both the Grand Haven Community Foundation and the Western Michigan Better Business Bureau (BBB), and he served on the executive board at Blandford Nature Center.
Randy enjoys hunting, fishing and the travels associated with these activities, especially trips that include his son, Brandon. He also enjoys watching his daughter, Lindsey, perform on stage and spending time with his grandchildren.
Randy lives in Grand Haven with his wife, Therese, and their two dogs.
