
Randall L. Hansen is President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of Centennial Securities Company. He joined Centennial in 1995 and is now also an owner.
Randy graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and Economics in 1983. He started his brokerage career that same year as an accounting clerk at H.B. Shaine & Company, a New York Stock Exchange firm located in the heart of Grand Rapids. By 1987, he had worked his way up to Assistant Secretary/Treasurer with the firm. Later that year, Randy took the position of CFO with a small independent brokerage firm in a Grand Rapids suburb.
Randy holds several industry licenses including that of Options Principal, Financial & Operations Principal, Municipal Principal, and General Principal. He is also a fully licensed Securities Representative and Investment Advisor. Randy is involved with FINRA Committees.
In addition to his responsibilities at Centennial Securities, Randy sits on the board of the Western Michigan Better Business Bureau (BBB), is a member of the investment committee at Blandford Nature Center, and is a member of the Grand Rapids Economic Club. He is also a trustee on the board of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation where he serves as chair of the investment committee.
Randy enjoys hunting, fishing and the travels associated with these activities, especially trips that include his son, Brandon. He also enjoys watching his daughter, Lindsey, perform on stage.
Randy is a director on the board of Pursuing a Dream Foundation, a local organization that assists the disabled to enjoy the outdoors. His passion is to work with kids either one-on-one in a boat/blind or at the annual "Get Hooked" events where over 300 special needs kids come together to fish.
Randy lives in Grand Haven with his wife, Therese, and their two dogs.
