Richard Awtrey started his career in financial services in 1980 and joined Centennial Securities in 1990. A graduate of Briercrest College in Canada, he considers his area of specialty to be income and equity accounts that offer flexibility, diversification, and some that are tax-advantaged while identifying sectors for future growth potential. Investors are educated in simple, understandable terms.
Accounts can be formatted in either standard brokerage or that of an advisory capacity. For those with the added concern of ethical investing, socially and morally screened versions are available.
After determining a client’s needs, objectives and risk tolerance, Rick’s role is to comprise and implement an agreed upon plan that best suits that client. The investment plan is revisited periodically to assure effectiveness.
Rick is a consulting board member on the Grand Rapids Christian Business Men’s Committee and for the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding in Rockford. He is also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). His hobbies include horseback riding, golfing, fishing, upland bird hunting, and sailing.
